The A44 motorway goes directly past the exhibition centre.
Leave at Junction 29, "Messe/Arena" and head for the two large car parks, P1 and P2. A free shuttle bus takes you directly to the entrances.
The Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre can be reached from Cologne within about 1 hour and from Dortmund and Aachen within about an hour and a quarter.
The exhibition centre can also be reached from neighbouring Neuss, Krefeld and Moers in 30 minutes.
Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) is only 3 km from the exhibition centre and is ideally situated, with direct links to 200 destinations in 50 countries on four continents.
It only takes a few minutes to get to our exhibition centre, either by bus (no. 896) or by taxi. The airport is also very close to the centre of Düsseldorf and your hotel.
When you reach the arrivals hall, you will find an info stand with plenty of material on Messe Düsseldorf and its exhibition centre.
Trips to/from Düsseldorf Airport to/from all entrances of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre are subject to the same special rate, both day and night – EUR 20.00.

Düsseldorf’s Rheinbahn network covers over 1,400 km of buses, local trains and overground and underground trams. It also forms part of a wider local transport area (VRR) which includes Düsseldorf and the surrounding localities, so that the same type of ticket can be used throughout this network, including any DB (German rail) trains that are exempt from special surcharges. Both the exhibition centre and the airport can therefore be reached very conveniently and without traffic jams. There are two major transport hubs where you are likely to change: Hauptbahnhof (central station) and Heinrich-Heine-Allee. Nearly all destinations in and around Düsseldorf can be reached from these stations. We would also recommending using directions to the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre which are provided in the neighbouring towns and cities.

Moreover, there are several trade fairs – e.g. MEDICA, drupa and K – where your entrance ticket also covers the neighbouring VRS area (which includes Cologne and Bonn).
