One of the most important masterminds of the German and international trade fair business, Kurt Schoop, celebrates his 90th birthday on 1 June 2011. From 1967 to 1984 Schoop was Chairman of the Management Board of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH. He was instrumental in promoting the building of the new Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre opening in 1971 with great international acclaim. read more...
