boot Düsseldorf 2012 has fully met the expectations of the international yacht and water sports industry. 246,700 water-sport enthusiasts visiting from over 60 countries not only made for optimism at the world’s biggest yacht and water sports trade fair drawing to a close on Sunday, 29 January but also for good business results in nearly all segments of the ranges on display. One year ago 250,500 visitors travelled to the Rhine. For the fifth time now, EuroShop, The Global Retail Trade Fair, and the EHI Retail Institute have presented the EuroShop RetailDesign Awards for the three best store concepts worldwide. The economic conditions for the trade fairs Metallurgy-Litmash, Tube Russia and Aluminium/Non Ferrous to be held from 28 to 31 May 2012 in Moscow are improving: Despite an extremely difficult economic environment over the past few years, the industry is now looking to the future with a fair amount of optimism thanks to the constantly improving investment climate in Russia. Well-known exhibitors such as TMK Russia, OMK Russia, Danieli, Elmaksan, Heinrich-Wagner-Sinto, Laempe Mössner, Künkel Wagner, Paul Wurth, Oskar Frech, Siemens VAI, Foseco and the SMS-Group have already secured their place at the Expocentre Fairgrounds in Moscow. From 16 to 20 May 2012, Messe Düsseldorf in cooperation with its Lebanese partner IFP Expo, the largest trade fair organizer in the Middle East, is staging the 8th International Boat & Super Yacht Show in Beirut. As one of the most successful maritime shows in the region, Beirut Boat 2011 registered over 28,000 visitors from the Lebanon (80%), the Eastern Mediterranean region (8%) and the Gulf States (12%).
