The world’s largest medical trade fair, MEDICA, and the leading international trade fair for suppliers of the medical technology industry, the COMPAMED, are always going to take place in November on the days running from Monday to Thursday from 2015 on and all days of the event are going to take place parallel to each other in Düsseldorf. The India healthcare market is booming. The MEDICAL FAIR INDIA 2014 also benefited from this development: India's No. 1 Trade Fair for Hospitals, Health Centres and Clinics, which took place from 14 to 16 March at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre, was once again able to record an increase in visitors and exhibitors. The fair concluded successfully with a total of 443 exhibitors and 8,013 registered trade visitors, having further established its position as the most important medical event for the Indian market. The trade fair was characterised by good business and a rigorous exchange of information among experts. Trade fair trio InterMopro, InterCool, InterMeat has been called off: too much reticence on the part of major industry players

The freshness trio InterMopro, InterCool, InterMeat (21-23 September 2014) has been called off. Although exhibitors expressly welcomed the redesign of the last show in 2012, not enough companies have confirmed their participation for 2014, so that the industry would not be sufficiently represented. Cancellations, reductions in space and above all the reticence of major industry players are not currently promising an adequate number of final registrations. The exhibitors’ turnout would therefore not do justice to the quality standard of Messe Düsseldorf or the interests of visitors from the retail trade. read more...

On its 20th anniversary ProWein 2014 not only transformed the exhibition centre but also the entire city of Düsseldorf into the international wine and spirits capital of the world. From 23 to 25 March 4,830 exhibitors from 47 countries and more than 48,000 international trade visitors met in the metropolis on the Rhine. The fifth edition of the make-up artist design show delighted visitors thanks to its multi-faceted and creative programme. The trade fair for make-up artists enticed 3,000 trade visitors to travel to Düsseldorf on 22 and 23 March. Make-up artists from international theatres, opera houses, playhouses, TV studios, musicals and film productions came to be informed at the stands of 75 exhibitors and brands from eight countries. The professional education programme was particularly well received: Large crowds gathered at the Presentation Forum to watch as top international experts such as Academy Award winner Michele Burke demonstrated new techniques and procedures. “The major stars of the sector show what they’re all about in Düsseldorf. From 26 to 29 May 2014 NEFTEGAZ 2014 – the international exhibition of equipment for the oil and gas industry – will again transform the exhibition centre SAO Expocentr in Krasnaya Presnya into an industry meeting place for experts and trade visitors. This leading trade fair of the industry, now held for the 15th time, has strong support from government and industry alike: it is backed, for instance, by Dmitri Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Naryshkin, Chairman of the State Duma of the RF, and Aleksandr Torshin, first deputy of the Federation Council of the RF. NEFTEGAZ, which is held in Moscow at two-year intervals under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, also receives valuable support from Russia's Ministry of Energy and Moscow's city government.
