The Seminar-Allianz (Seminar Alliance) of German-speaking trade fair organisers will be offering event managers and key officers a significantly extended range of seminars from 2010. In response to great demand in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, some sixty events will address subjects such as “Trade Fairs as Marketing Tools”, “Professional Trade Fair Planning”, “Success Control Trade Fair”, “Stand Construction and Design Crash Course”, “The Professional Trade Fair Conversation” as well as “Press Liaison and Media Work for Trade Fairs”.
The programme of events will be extended to include innovative communication training as well as seminars for the international exhibition business. The new seminars accompany participants through all the stages of their trade fair participation – from the deci-sion in favour of participation through the entire duration of the trade fair all the way to a professional follow-up.
Werner M. Dornscheidt, President and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH: “With this move our Seminar-Allianz successfully follows on from its course charted in 2008 with the aim of offering trade fair cus-tomers an immediate added benefit, which is of increasing benefit in times of tight budgets and scarce resources. Properly coached, organ-ising trade fair participations becomes even more efficient while sav-ing the costs of misguided marketing communication.”
New Web Presence of the Seminar-Allianz
Easy layout and a clear look will be the hallmarks of the Internet pres-ence from January. Describing the new web presence, Béatrice Klocke, Head of the Akademie Messe Frankfurt, said: “We will now be featuring all our themes at a glance – www.seminarallianz.de is the central access point to all online activities of the Seminar-Alliance providing targeted and user-friendly navigation through the ranges.” The web pages make user orientation easy thanks to clearly structured navigation bars.
Expobusiness Congress 2010
The Expobusiness Congress will also be held in 2010. This Congress is made by exhibitors for exhibitors and will be organised by the Seminar-Allianz of Germany trade fair companies in the AUMA Association, the Messe Schweiz Group as well as Reed Exhibitions Messe Vienna. Other partners include the AUMA Association of the German Trade Fair Industry and FAMAB, the Association for Direct Business Communications. In charge of organisation will be Akademie Messe Frankfurt and the publishing house m+a Verlag für Messen, Ausstellungen und Kongresse GmbH. At the successful debut event in Frankfurt am Main in 2009 delegates already benefited from concrete reports from exhibition practitioners and expert discussions addressing the focal theme of visitor marketing. The second Expobusiness Congress will be held in Nuremberg on 8 and 9 September 2010.
The Seminar-Allianz
The Seminar-Allianz was established in 2008 as an alliance of Ger-man-speaking trade fair companies with a view to offering their exhibitors a comprehensive further training facility. It is a network of – by now – 13 trade fair companies (Messe Berlin, Messe Düsseldorf, Messe Essen, Messe Frankfurt, Hamburg Messe und Congress, Karlsruhe – Messen und Kongresse, Köln Messe, Leipziger Messe, Messe München, Nürnberg Messe, Messe Stuttgart, Messe Schweiz and Reed Exhibitions Messe Wien). Partners include AUMA as the association of exhibiting business, FAMAB as the association for trade fair presences and marketing events and m+a report as a media partner. The conception and execution of the seminars was entrusted to Akademie Messe Frankfurt.
