When the doors open again for the 26th CPM – Collection Première Moscow on 23 February 2016 visitors will be in for many highlights. The French label AIGLE and other international exhibitors such as ANGELO NARDELLI · ATELIERS DE LA MAILLE · BRACCIALINI · FERRARI JUNIOR · LAGERFELD · LA FABBRICA DEL LINO · LQ FASHION · MARC CAIN · MAYORAL · MINERVA · PRETTY ONE and SARAH PACINI, to name but a few, will be represented at the trade fair to showcase their collections for the 2016/17 Autumn/Winter season.
The star of the Opening Ceremony will be the well-known Russian star designer Igor Chapurin. In 1999 he opened the first Chapurin Couture Boutique in Moscow. With his haute-couture line he has been a fixture in the list of Paris Prêt-à-Porter Shows since 2008. His lines Capurincasa and Chapurin Child Collection are equally successful. Chapurin says: “My creative credo boils down to just three words: Simplicity, Harmony and Perfection.” His presence at the official CPM opening alone guarantees strong media attendance.
Presented on the catwalk will be the creations of both proven and new designers. In addition to the CPM Selected and CPM Kids Show, Marc Cain will once again stage a show. For the first time, the winners of the national design competition “Russian Silhouette” – Anna Krucinka and Anna Gasimova & Alena Silkina – will be showing their fashion. The winning collections of the international St. Petersburg contest “Admiralty Needle” will also be featured on the runway. As part of CPM the Russian sportswear label FORWARD will organise a competition for young designers and the winner will also be honoured with a ceremony on the catwalk. Taking place for the first time is the project “Handmade in Russia” in Hall 82 involving five participants. Here hand-crafted accessories from the designers MARFA & MADONNA · RAZGULAEV BLAGONAROVOVA · ANNA SLAVUTINA · ZLATA PECZKOVSKA can be seen. And in the Trendlounge in Hall 82 trade visitors will find information on the fashion trends of the 2016/17 Autumn/Winter season.
The 2nd day of the trade show will see the workshop “Your Business in Düsseldorf/Germany” being organised by NRW.INVEST on the catwalk of Hall 8.3 at 11.00 am. The organising body markets the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and Düsseldorf, in particular, as investment locations on an international scale. NRW.INVEST assists companies in location but also tax and legal matters. Speakers will include Petra Wasser, CEO of NRW.INVEST, and Ulrike Kähler, Project Director National Trade Shows of the Igedo Company for the fashion destination Düsseldorf, as well as INNA Federova, the owner of Boutique Alexinna, who opened a store in Düsseldorf last year.
An entire afternoon will be dedicated to the kids fashion theme as part of the Russian Fashion Retail Forum lecture series. Over 20 different talks in total will be delivered by high-calibre speakers, all revolving around the topic “Effective Means to Improve Fashion Retail Management”. Children’s fashion will also be the focus of this year’s BloggerWalks. They will be guided by five renowned kids bloggers during CPM and call on international exhibitors from the CPM kids segment during the tour of the exhibition halls. To make the trade fair visit effective for trade visitors the children’s fashion segment has been moved to Hall 22. Other elements of the extensive supporting programme include the Italian Kids Show as well as the Kids Get-together on the Wednesday of the trade fair.
September saw the premiere of the new CPM start-up project. At the coming trade fair some brands will again use the opportunity to gain a foothold on the Eastern European market and find an appropriate agency. These companies are pooled in the foyer under the heading Start-up. The forthcoming edition of CPM – Collection Première Moscow will be held from 23 to 26 February 2016 at the Expocentre fair grounds in Moscow. International manufacturers of the segments CPM kids, CPM Premium, CPM Accessories as well as Mode Lingerie & Swim Moscow, co-organised by Igedo’s partner Eurovet, showcase collections for the 2016/17 Autumn/Winter season.
