Events are what we do. And we prove this with some 50 trade fairs in Düsseldorf. We also use our expertise beyond the trade fair business – to make our mark in other areas. For instance in sport: as a long-standing partner of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (Deutscher Olympischer Sportbund – DOSB) and the National Paralympic Committee Germany (Deutscher Behindertensportverband – DBS) we operate the German House on behalf of Deutsches Sport Marketing (DSM). And we take on a key task as ‘host parents’ for athletes, sponsors and partners.
Or as part of interpack: with the SAVE FOOD initiative that we run together with the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), the UN Environmental Program (UNEP) and the world’s leading trade fair for packaging and processes. The international response has proven us right: the initiative is already travelling around the world with events in Russia, Africa and North America. Recognising needs and also taking action is our way of looking beyond our own backyard.
