New Trade Fair Dates for MEDICAL FAIR BRASIL from 16 to 17 September 2020
Messe Düsseldorf reorients its activities for the health market in Brazil and launches the trade fair MEDICAL FAIR BRASIL to be held at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo from 16 to 17 September 2020 for the first time.

AO EXPOCENTR, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and OOO Messe Düsseldorf Moscow are postponing the leading networking platform for the Russian oil and gas industry NEFTEGAZ due to the effects of the Coronavirus Covid-19. The trade fair and the parallel National Oil and Gas Forum will now take place from 22 to 25 June 2020 in the halls of the Expocentre exhibition center in Moscow.

New METAV date set
METAV 2020 is postponed until March 2021. It will now be held from 23 to 26 March 2021. "We are delighted to have agreed a new date together with our partner, Messe Düsseldorf, so quickly," says Dr. Wilfried Schäfer, Executive Director of the METAV organiser VDW (German Machine Tool Builders' Association).

Permanently Present for 40 Years: Messe Düsseldorf Moscow Celebrates Anniversary
Messe Düsseldorf celebrates the 40th anniversary of its Moscow subsidiary. By opening the official representation on 15 October 1979 it laid the foundation for its success story on the Russian market. 2002 saw the subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf Moscow being established, which today employs 49 members of staff and organises 14 trade fairs and participations in five Russian destinations.
Incident during Stand Construction for K
On Wednesday, 2 October 2019, at around 12.45 pm, an incident has occurred in Hall 4 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre during stand construction for the K trade fair. A heavy-duty crane tilted forward while unloading a machine. Nobody was injured.
Supervisory Board says farewell to Hans Werner Reinhard
On 27 September 2019, at Messe Düsseldorf’s Supervisory Board meeting, Hans Werner Reinhard will be officially relieved of his duties upon coordination with the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, the Mayor of Düsseldorf, Thomas Geisel. He will resign from his positions within the Messe Düsseldorf Group on 30 September 2019.

Messe Düsseldorf puts Hall 1 in Operation
