The continuing high level of infection and the fact that the end of the lockdown is not foreseeable for the time being make a resumption of trade fair operations in Düsseldorf at the end of April appear increasingly unrealistic. Messe Düsseldorf reassessed the situation with its partners and jointly decided to cancel boot 2021 early. Its priority is the health and planning security of its exhibitors, visitors and service providers.
Already at the beginning of December 2020, Messe Düsseldorf has cancelled all of its own events at the Düsseldorf site until April 2021 due to the Covid 19 pandemic. In total, the following trade fairs are affected:
interpack and components (25.02.-03.03)
Energy Storage Europe (16.-18.03.)
boot (17.-25.04.; original date: 23.-30.01.)
The affected B2B trade fairs will be held in line with their usual cycles.
Messe Düsseldorf is now putting all its efforts into resuming trade fair operations from mid-May 2021. According to the current status, the first own events in 2021 will be BEAUTY (28.05.-30.05.), TOP HAIR (29.05.-31.05.) and glasstec (15.-18.06.). Messe Düsseldorf has already shown that successful trade fairs are possible even in Covid-19 times, with the greatest possible protection for all concerned. The CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf took place from 4 to 13 September as the first major trade fair in Germany after the lockdown 2020 with more than 107,000 visitors. The hygiene and infection protection concept of Messe Düsseldorf was successfully applied. You can find all information on this at: https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/corona.

All events were held in compliance with strict infection protection and hygiene provisions. To this end, a comprehensive Protection and Hygiene Concept was developed.
In addition to this, Düsseldorf Congress has extended its portfolio to include professional streaming solutions.
