Claire Steinbrück Assumes Role as New Executive Director of Global Corporate Development and Strategy
On July 1, 2025 Claire Steinbrück took up her position as a new Executive Director at Messe Düsseldorf. Joining the managing board she will be in charge of the newly created division “Global Corporate Development and Strategy”. With this both personnel and structural decision, Messe Düsseldorf is strengthening its focus on international growth.

Launch of the New India Competence Centre
The newly founded India Competence Centre Düsseldorf (IKD – German abbreviation) was opened today with a high-level kick-off event at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK – German abbreviation) in Düsseldorf. On hand to jointly present the new project were Mayor Dr. Stephan Keller, IHK President Andreas Schmitz and Messe Düsseldorf President & CEO Wolfram Diener.

UFI President 2026-27: Wolfram N. Diener Elected to Lead the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry
The UFI Board of Directors has elected Wolfram N. Diener, President & CEO of Messe Düsseldorf Group, as President of UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, for the 2026-27 term. His election honors his distinguished international exhibition expertise – and reflects the strong international standing of Messe Düsseldorf.

EuroCIS 2025, The Leading Trade Fair for Retail Technology, draws to a close with consistently positive results after three intense trade fair days. With 500 exhibitors from 37 nations, EuroCIS 2025 was completely booked and was the biggest event since the inception of the trade fair. Over 14,000 trade visitors from 95 countries came to Düsseldorf.

The strategic course set by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH is paying off: 2024 was a tremendous trade show and business year – with around €363 million in sales, nearly €60 million in profits after taxes, and 76 trade shows in Düsseldorf and worldwide. A new implementation company in Dubai will expand its portfolio in the Gulf region on behalf of Messe Düsseldorf.

A New Headquarters for Messe Düsseldorf
Messe Düsseldorf GmbH is planning a new headquarters – consisting of a new “Messe Düsseldorf Cube” and the fully refurbished administrative Tower B. The aim is to continue to reinforce the company’s position as an attractive employer in the region. All construction work is to be completed by 2028, with the necessary preparations getting underway as early as this year.

Messe Düsseldorf is now represented in the economic hub of Dubai with the new "Messe Düsseldorf Gulf Office." This management company, acting exclusively on behalf of Messe Düsseldorf, is set to organize new trade fairs in the Gulf region starting in 2026. With this move, the trade fair company strengthens its position in the Middle East.
