The Olympic Games in Paris are over and the Paralympic games already started. In addition to the sporting highlights of Team D, there was also the largest German House of all time to marvel at. Messe Düsseldorf, together with many other partners of Deutsche Sport Marketing, created the central meeting point for the athletes at the 2024 Olympic Games. Team D had only just arrived in Düsseldorf for the official dressing for the Olympic Games when the competitions were already over. While medals were being fought for in Paris, Messe Düsseldorf, as the official key partner of Team D, helped organize the German House at the Stade Jean-Bouin in the French capital on behalf of Deutsche Sport Marketing. The “home” of the German Olympians attracted thousands of visitors and was also a popular meeting place for business, politics and the media, for example at the NRW Evening, which was also attended by the Minister President of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hendrik Wüst. “The German House is an honor for Messe Düsseldorf and the entire team,” said Wolfram N. Diener, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf.
This was made possible by the many volunteers who, together with the Special Events Team of Messe Düsseldorf and many other Team D partners, created the largest German House of all time. Training facilities for the athletes, rooms for business meetings and a large fan zone are just some of the possibilities that the German House offered this year. “Messe Düsseldorf plays a very decisive role at the German House - and has traditionally done so for many years of intensive and great partnership,” says Claudia Wagner, Managing Director of Deutsche Sport Marketing.
