On Wednesday, 2 October 2019, at around 12.45 pm, an incident has occurred in Hall 4 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre during stand construction for the K trade fair. A heavy-duty crane tilted forward while unloading a machine. Nobody was injured. Some structures suspended from the roof were slightly damaged. The company fire brigade was immediately on site and initiated all required measures. The situation was resolved, the minor damage can be repaired by Messe Düsseldorf staff. An initial structural analysis showed that the safety of Hall 4 is not impaired. Stand construction for K therefore continues.
