Düsseldorf, 05.05.2020 - The leading industry platform for the Russian oil and gas industry NEFTEGAZ in Moscow has been postponed until next year due to the effects of COVID-19. It was previously scheduled for the end of June. The new date is now 26 to 29 April 2021, which the organizers AO EXPOCENTR, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and its Russian subsidiary OOO Messe Düsseldorf Moscow have jointly agreed on. The National Oil and Gas Forum, which is taking place at the same time as the trade fair, will also be postponed. "This is an unfortunate but correct decision," says Erhard Wienkamp, Managing Director of the Operative Trade Fair Business of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH. "With the new date, we are following the recommendations of the Russian Ministry of Health to stem the spread of the corona virus. The new date creates prospects for a revival of the economy and a successful 20th NEFTEGAZ 2021, and also offers our international exhibitors sufficient planning lead time to position themselves as technology partners for the Russian gas and oil industry."
Every year, NEFTEGAZ presents innovations, products and services in machinery and equipment for the oil and gas industry at the Moscow Expocentre exhibition center. In 2019 about 22,800 trade visitors came to the fair. Existing exhibitor registrations remain valid for the new date.
