NEFTEGAZ started on Monday, 26.04.2021 with a special highlight: The opening ceremony featured welcome speeches by representatives of leading industry associations, the Union of Oil and Gas Producers and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. In addition, the President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin and the new acting General Director of Expocentre Sergey Vjalkin were also among the prominent guests.
Thomas Stenzel, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf Moscow, commented on the successful start of the trade fair: "NEFTEGAZ and the National Oil and Gas Forum are a key event for the industry. The fact that the Russian business is now picking up speed again in the midst of the Corona pandemic makes the twentieth edition of NEFTEGAZ a very special one. Despite the difficult travel conditions, we were able to welcome 2,900 registered trade visitors on the very first day of the fair in Moscow! This was made possible by a well thought-out safety and hygiene concept. And of course, above all, thanks to the numerous innovations of our approximately 450 exhibitors from 23 countries, who will present their products and solutions to a broad trade audience today and in the coming days."
The exhibitors in Halls 1, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 8.2 of the EXPOCENTRE exhibition center include small and medium-sized companies as well as international industry giants such as Burintech, CPTDC, GAZPROM, Kanex-Krohne Anlagen Export, Samson Controls, Techmash, Transneft, TMK and URALS PIPE WORKS. German companies will participate in the exhibition as part of the joint stand in Hall 2.1. The trade visitors can learn about innovations and trends at a special exhibition of the exhibiting company Schneider Electric in Halls 4, 7.3. and 7.4. From April 26-29, NEFTEGAZ and the forum in Hall 8.3 will focus on current industry topics such as analysis and forecasting of energy market development, taxation of the oil and gas industry, transformation of the fuel and energy sector, industrial automation and artificial intelligence, development of green technologies as well as investments in environmental technology, drones and robotics.
The leading trade fair for the Russian oil and gas industry is organized by Messe Düsseldorf, its subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf Moscow and the leading Russian trade fair company Expocentre.
